Why Work At Lakeside Child Care Centre?

  • Our Values

Lakeside Child Care Centre is a Christian, non-profit, community-based, licensed child care centre that offers programs for children ages 18-48 months. We are devoted to the overall well-being of children by teaching Biblical principles and modelling the unconditional love of Jesus Christ.

Our educational model is based on the ‘Emergent Curriculum’ method.

To work at Lakeside Child Care Centre is to be part of a family that always strives to bring the light into our kid’s smiles and hearts.

  • Our Approach

We are committed to providing high quality care to all children, with the guidance of qualified and passionate educators. We aim to provide an environment where children can be engaged and inspired through play experiences, and grow in their sense of curiosity and learning.

Because our practices are based in Christian values, our children can develop a positive self image, self-confidence and know that they are loved and valued. Our teachers are professionally trained in Early Childhood Education and we utilize a balanced and effective curriculum that is government approved.

  • Our Location

The Lakeside Child Care Centre is located inside Lakeside Church, on a beautiful 90-acre country property, close to Guelph Lake.

We are surrounded by the peaceful quiet of the Guelph Conservation Area and we take every opportunity to help our kids enjoy the unique location we have.
